Blue Ridge Parkway

On Saturday, June 27th, the Second Baptist Motorcycle Group left from the Gum Spring Dairy Queen to head out on a scenic tour of the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, pausing for lunch at the Peaks of Otter Lodge.

Camp Alkulana


The Second Baptist Motorcycle group began a 125 mile journey to Camp Alkulana on Saturday, May 30th, meeting at 7:15 a.m. at the Dairy Queen in Gum Spring, Virginia.

Urbanna Ride

On Saturday, October 11th, we took a beautiful ride to Urbanna, Virginia. We made one stop along the way and enjoyed a fellowship lunch at the Port Urbanna Waterside Grill..

Surrey House Ride on Saturday, July 12, 2008

The second journey of the Second Baptist Motorcycle Group took place on July 12th at 10 a.m. They took off on their trip from the Exxon / Dairy Queen on New Market Road and traveled down beautiful Route 5 to meet the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry and head over to the Surrey House Restaurant for a wonderful lunch and time for some Christian fellowship.

First Group Ride on Saturday, June 14, 2008

The Second Baptist Church Motorcycle Group left the church parking lot at 10 a.m. to head to beautiful Ashland, Virginia. They enjoyed their fellowship time and a little lunch at Ashland Coffee and Tea. Stops were made in Crozier, Virginia, as well as Gum Springs in their travels.
